Armaan Malik’s Live Premiere Caps AdVITya’26 as VIT Bhopal Hosts One of Central India’s Largest Student Festivals

Sehore, MP, 1 March 2026: AdVITya’26 concluded at VIT Bhopal with a high-energy finale headlined by Armaan Malik, closing one of Central India’s most expansive student-led festivals with a performance that blended chart-toppers and a live musical premiere.
In a defining moment of the night, Armaan Malik performed his newly released track “Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge” from the upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer Bhooth Bangla for the first time on stage. The exclusive live rendition drew a powerful response from the audience, marking a standout highlight in the festival’s closing ceremony.

Malik’s set traversed romantic ballads and high tempo pop anthems, turning the campus into a chorus of thousands. The finale followed several days of structured programming that integrated sport, technology and cultural expression into a cohesive campus-wide experience.
The festival unfolded under the leadership of Chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan and with the support of Vice President Dr. Sankar Viswanathan, Assistant Vice President Ms. Kadhambari S. Viswanathan and Trustee Mrs. Ramani Balasundaram.

AdVITya’26 began with the Sports Fest from 21 to 24 February, drawing more than 1,000 participants across nine disciplines. Football and cricket finals drew intense participation, while badminton, chess and weightlifting competitions reflected competitive depth. An arm wrestling category introduced exclusively for VIT Bhopal students added a new dimension to campus competition.
From 26 to 28 February, the Techno Cultural segment expanded the festival’s scale. Stand up comic Pranav Sharma opened the programming with a performance tailored to the student audience. Technical competitions including TechTonic’26, Robo Mania, Battle Bots, INNOVIT Finale and Chakravyuh Vinash Protocol tested engineering design, coding skill and strategic execution. Gaming arenas ran parallel to Finance Carnival Deal or Dominate, where participants navigated real time decision making challenges.

Cultural showcases such as Jhalak 26, Kavya Manch, Padharo Saa 3.0 and VITB Got Latent created space for artistic expression alongside analytical competition.
Music shaped the festival’s emotional arc across its closing days. The 9Teen Band performed theatrical mash ups of Bollywood classics and contemporary hits. Rashmeet Kaur followed with a high tempo set featuring Bajre Da Sitta and other popular tracks. On 27 February, Rajasthani folk exponent Jasu Khan Bisu introduced regional depth and traditional performance before the grand finale by Armaan Malik.

Across stadiums, auditoriums and open air stages, AdVITya’26 brought together sport, innovation and performance into a single campus ecosystem. As the final performance concluded, the festival closed on a note of continuity rather than completion, reinforcing VIT Bhopal’s emphasis on student initiative, structured competition and creative collaboration.
