Renault India Posts 31% February Growth as Momentum Builds Ahead of Duster Return

3,495 units wholesaled in February 2026 as refreshed Kiger and Triber drive expansion; company records 32% cumulative growth in first two months of 2026

Mumbai, March 1, 2026: Renault India recorded 3,495 units in wholesale dispatches in February 2026, marking a 31% year on year increase compared to 2,676 units in February 2025.
The company has sustained its upward trajectory into 2026, registering a cumulative 32% growth in the first two months of the year compared to the corresponding period last year. Building on the momentum seen in January, Renault India continued to outpace broader industry growth during February.

The expansion has been led by strong demand for the refreshed Kiger and Triber models. The new Triber recorded a 57% year on year growth in February, emerging as a key contributor to overall performance.
Renault India has reported consistent gains since the third quarter of calendar year 2025. The company posted 9% year on year growth in Q3 CY2025, followed by 27% in Q4 CY2025, and 32% growth across January and February 2026 combined.

Market response has also been influenced by the announcement of the Renault Duster’s return to India, which has resulted in increased dealership footfalls and renewed consumer interest in the brand’s upcoming product pipeline.
Renault India operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Renault Group and manufactures its vehicles at its Oragadam facility in Chennai, which has an installed production capacity of 480,000 units per annum. The company maintains a nationwide presence with over 350 sales outlets and more than 450 service touchpoints, including Workshop on Wheels locations.
