MSMEs received ₹512 crore, while retail borrowers secured ₹351 crore and agriculture accounted for ₹157 crore at the Mega RAM Credit Camp

Indian Bank sanctioned credit worth ₹1,020 crore across its Retail, Agriculture and MSME segments at a Mega Credit Camp organised in Visakhapatnam under its Field General Manager’s Office, Hyderabad.
MSMEs accounted for the largest portion of the sanctions at ₹512 crore, representing just over half of the total credit sanctioned during the initiative.
The retail segment received sanctions worth ₹351 crore, while agriculture accounted for ₹157 crore.
The Mega RAM Credit Camp focused on expanding access to financing for entrepreneurs, individuals and the agricultural community through credit across the three segments.

According to Indian Bank, the initiative is aligned with its objective of expanding credit access and supporting economic activity under the Viksit Bharat vision.
Binod Kumar, MD and CEO, Indian Bank, said, “Indian Bank remains committed to strengthening credit access across the Retail, Agriculture and MSME segments, which are vital to driving entrepreneurship, livelihoods and inclusive economic growth. The successful Mega RAM Credit Camp reflects our continued focus on understanding customer needs and delivering timely, customer-centric financial solutions. We will continue to deepen our engagement with individuals, farmers and entrepreneurs and support their aspirations for growth and development.”

The initiative forms part of the bank’s strategy to increase its presence across the Retail, Agriculture and MSME segments while extending financing to different categories of borrowers.
Indian Bank said its credit campaigns and customer outreach initiatives are intended to improve access to banking and financing for retail customers, farmers and entrepreneurs.
The Visakhapatnam campaign also brought together teams operating under FGMO Hyderabad to facilitate customer outreach across the three lending segments.

Field General Manager Srirama Chandra Babu M. participated in the campaign along with zonal heads from various zones and MCB heads under FGMO Hyderabad.
The ₹1,020 crore sanctioned during the camp reflects the scale of credit allocated across MSMEs, retail customers and agriculture, with MSMEs receiving the largest share of the total.
