Mumbai, March 31, 2026: Cosmo Films has received three SIES SOP Star Awards 2026 in the Packaging Materials and Components category, recognising its work in developing application driven specialty films for evolving industry requirements.
The awards were presented on March 17 during the ninth edition of the event, which saw participation from multiple companies across packaging and user industries.

The recognised products include CPP Film for deep freeze applications, High Barrier Pigmented BOPP Film, and Lidding Film for retort applications. These products are designed to address specific needs in food and FMCG packaging, particularly in areas requiring durability, barrier protection, and process efficiency.
The CPP film developed for deep freeze applications is engineered to perform in low temperature conditions while maintaining seal integrity. The retort lidding film is suited for high temperature sterilisation processes while maintaining packaging strength and safety.
