Prof Dr Uma Bhardwaj, Vice Chancellor, Noida International University, joins Sameer Bakshi, Founder, Beyond Tigers, for Dialogue Series session on conservation challenges
Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, February 16, 2026: Sameer Bakshi, Founder of Beyond Tigers, addressed students and faculty at Noida International University as part of the School of Sciences Dialogue Series, focusing on enterprise led responses to wildlife conservation challenges.
The lecture, titled Saving the Wild Entrepreneurial Solutions to Wildlife Challenges, examined issues such as habitat loss, biodiversity decline and human wildlife conflict. Bakshi drew from field experience to explain how community engagement and sustainable business approaches can support conservation outcomes.
The programme was attended by Prof Dr Uma Bhardwaj, Vice Chancellor, Noida International University; Dr Mukesh Parashar, Registrar; Prof Dr T A Wani, Dean Q and A; Mr Ishan Kapoor, Founder, Hoping Mind; and Prof Dr Deepshikha Pande Katare, Dean, School of Sciences.
During her address, the Vice Chancellor spoke about the role of universities in advancing environmental awareness and socially relevant innovation.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion moderated by Dr Varun K Sharma, where students raised questions on practical conservation strategies and entrepreneurial application in environmental sectors.
The event formally marked the beginning of the Dialogue Series, an academic initiative aimed at structured conversations on environmental and social themes.
