Mumbai, March 5, 2026: McDonald’s Corporation has renewed its strategic collaboration with Capgemini through a five year global agreement focused on building modern and scalable platforms across guest and crew facing experiences.
The agreement supports McDonald’s Accelerating the Arches strategy, which prioritises technology driven growth, digital engagement and improved restaurant operations. As outlined during McDonald’s 2023 Investor Update, the company aims to reach 250 million 90 day active loyalty users and generate 45 billion dollars in annual systemwide sales from loyalty members by the end of 2027. The strategy also includes connecting thousands of restaurants to cloud based capabilities.
Capgemini has worked with McDonald’s for more than a decade, supporting the company’s digital transformation journey. The renewed agreement focuses on the next phase of this work, including modernising restaurant technology, advancing consumer digital platforms, accelerating speed to market and enabling cost efficient operating models through AI driven capabilities.
Through the partnership, Capgemini will continue providing engineering, deployment and support services for selected customer facing digital channels and restaurant technologies across McDonald’s global system.
Brian Rice, Global CIO, McDonald’s Corporation, said, “We’re focused on modernizing our restaurants and elevating the customer and crew experience. As we reimagine how we work together and move forward as a system, we’re continuing to unlock new possibilities, with trusted partners like Capgemini, to modernize our restaurants and elevate the customer experience.”
Capgemini will apply its multidisciplinary capabilities across strategy, design, innovation and engineering to support the development of platforms serving both restaurant teams and customers. The company will also use AI and advanced analytics through its Applied Innovation Exchange to contribute to McDonald’s broader technology ecosystem and public cloud strategy.
Anirban Bose, CEO of the Americas and Group Executive Board Member at Capgemini, said, “We look forward to continuing our work with McDonald’s to enhance digital and in restaurant experiences. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to shaping the restaurant experience of the future.”
Capgemini operates in more than 50 countries with over 420,000 team members and reported global revenues of 22.5 billion euros in 2025.
