Nationwide Preventive Eye Care Drive for Women Launched Through ‘Gift Her Clear Vision’ Campaign by Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital

Dr Preethi S, Regional Head, Clinical Services, Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, Gachibowli, highlights an initiative offering free eye check ups for women across more than 280 eye hospitals and vision care centres during March.

Hyderabad, March 7, 2026: A nationwide preventive eye care initiative focused on women’s health has been introduced through the ‘Gift Her Clear Vision’ campaign by Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, with the aim of providing free eye examinations and consultations to women across India.
Launched to mark International Women’s Day 2026, the campaign encourages people to pledge an eye check up for important women in their lives. The initiative seeks to strengthen awareness around preventive eye health and address a common gap where women often prioritise family responsibilities over their own healthcare.

The campaign will be implemented through the hospital’s network of more than 280 eye hospitals and vision care centres across the country. Participants can nominate a woman for a free eye check up by completing a short pledge form available on the hospital’s website or by contacting a dedicated helpline. Once a nomination is received, the hospital team contacts the nominated individual and schedules a priority appointment at the nearest Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital centre between March 8 and March 31, 2026.
Dr Preethi S, Regional Head, Clinical Services, Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, said, “Through this campaign we are offering free comprehensive eye examinations and clinical consultations for women nationwide. Early and regular eye check ups play a crucial role in preventing avoidable vision impairment by enabling timely diagnosis and ensuring the right treatment at the right time.”

To support the initiative, the hospital has designated priority consultation hours for women across its centres on weekdays and weekends. During these dedicated hours ophthalmologists will ensure focused consultations. Women visiting on Sundays will also benefit from expedited check ins and access to private consultation spaces.
Through the ‘Gift Her Clear Vision’ campaign, Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital aims to promote preventive eye care awareness and encourage women across India to prioritise regular eye examinations as part of routine healthcare.
