Indian Air Force Veteran Dr. Garima Mishra Takes Charge as HP Telecom India CEO from October 21

Dr. Garima Mishra, Chief Executive Officer, HP Telecom India Limited, brings over 15 years of experience across defence, consumer goods and technology distribution, while Vijay Yadav, Managing Director, HP Telecom India Limited, outlines the company’s plans for expansion and stronger business partnerships.

HP Telecom India Limited (NSE: HPTL) has appointed Dr. Garima Mishra as its Chief Executive Officer, effective October 21, 2026. She will oversee the company’s business strategy, operations and expansion plans as the technology and consumer products distributor enters its next phase of growth.
Dr. Mishra brings more than 15 years of professional experience across the defence sector, consumer goods and technology distribution. Her career includes a decade of service in the Indian Air Force, followed by senior commercial and sales leadership positions in the corporate sector.

She began her professional journey as an engineer in the Indian Air Force, where she served in technical and operational roles for ten years. Her responsibilities involved working in demanding environments that required operational discipline, technical knowledge and decision making under pressure.
Following her military service, Dr. Mishra moved into corporate leadership, taking up senior sales and commercial responsibilities at Diageo and Pernod Ricard.
She subsequently led the Apple business at Redington, gaining experience in technology distribution, commercial operations and channel partnerships.

Her academic development includes management programmes at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and the Indian School of Business.
Dr. Mishra has received recognition for her professional achievements, including features in Forbes’ 40 Under 40, BW Businessworld 40 Under 40 and India’s Top 100 Influential Personalities 2024.
She is also a recipient of the Stree Shakti Samma 2020, awarded by the International United Educationists Fraternity.
At HP Telecom India Limited, her responsibilities will include expanding the company’s market reach and developing relationships with brand partners, customers, vendors and distribution channels.

The company plans to focus on improving sales and operational processes, using data and analytics to support business decisions and enhancing customer experience.
Talent development, team accountability and governance will also form part of Dr. Mishra’s leadership priorities.
Vijay Yadav, Managing Director, HP Telecom India Limited, welcomed the appointment and highlighted Dr. Mishra’s experience across engineering, commercial operations and organisational leadership.
