Colorcoat® Steel Enters Indian Market as Tata Steel Colors Begins Jamshedpur Manufacturing

Tata Steel Colors Private Limited (TSCPL) has introduced the Colorcoat® range of prepainted steel products in India, bringing coating technology developed through European experience to the country’s construction and infrastructure markets.
The range has been adapted for Indian conditions, with a focus on durability, thermal performance, architectural design and environmental considerations.
Colorcoat® uses advanced coating technology intended to provide colour and gloss retention, corrosion protection, cut edge protection and scratch resistance. The products are designed for use in hot and warm climates, where exposure to heat and environmental conditions can affect the performance and appearance of building materials.

The range also offers multiple colours and finishes, allowing architects, developers and construction companies to select materials suited to different building designs.
Tata Steel Colors will manufacture Colorcoat® products at its facility in Jamshedpur. The company will also handle their distribution and marketing in India and international markets.
The introduction provides domestic access to the Colorcoat® product range while supporting local manufacturing and supply for construction projects.

The products combine coating performance with a range of architectural finishes, giving project designers options for exterior building surfaces.
The company is positioning the range for projects where material longevity, visual consistency and environmental performance are important considerations.
