Factrika plans to use the seed capital for technology, team growth and expansion across Bhiwadi, Manesar, Bawal, Noida and Bahadurgarh, as its network crosses 10,000 registered workers in more than 20 skill

A ₹8.9 crore seed round led by Info Edge will fund Factrika’s expansion across industrial clusters as the workforce platform seeks to address daily worker availability and deployment requirements at Indian factories.
Founded in July 2024, Factrika connects manufacturers with workers according to verified skills and availability. The company said its platform can deploy workers within two hours.
The platform currently has more than 10,000 registered workers across over 20 skill categories and reports a show rate exceeding 90%.
According to information supplied by Factrika, Indian factories face a daily worker shortage of between 20% and 25%. The company attributes part of the gap to fragmented contractor based staffing systems and says shortages can affect production, operating costs and factory operations.
Factrika allows workers to accept shifts digitally, while attendance and payments are managed through the platform. Workers also build a digital work record intended to document their skills and employment history.
The company said workers can increase their earnings by between 20% and 30% through skill progression.
Factrika also reports that worker deployment hours are increasing between 50% and 70% month on month.
Its clients include Lenskart, Munjal Kiriu, Asahi India Glass, Jubilant Foods, Epack Durables, PG Technoplast, Hanon Climate, Bidso and Talbros Auto Components.
The new capital will be used to expand Factrika’s team and technology while extending operations into additional industrial clusters.
Initial expansion will focus on Bhiwadi, Manesar, Bawal, Noida and Bahadurgarh. The company is targeting what it describes as a $23 billion manufacturing workforce opportunity in India.
Factrika was founded by Kshitij Puri and Gaurav Asthana.
Puri previously founded and scaled fintech NBFC ZipLoan and is an alumnus of UCLA Anderson and ICAI.
Asthana is an alumnus of BITS Pilani and IIM Ahmedabad and has more than two decades of experience across technology, operations and product roles in recruitment, fintech, agritech and marketplaces.

With the seed capital, Factrika is focusing on expanding its presence in industrial centres while developing its technology for worker matching, attendance, payments and verified employment records.
