Ayush Agrawal, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, Trev Mobility, will work with Naveen Gupta, Founder and CEO, Trev Mobility, as the company expands its fleet of more than 100 electric vehicles and develops long haul and intercity operations.
Trev Mobility has appointed Ayush Agrawal as Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer as the electric mobility company expands its fleet, enters new markets and develops its long haul and intercity operations.
Agrawal joins Trev Mobility from chauffeur driven mobility company Shoffr, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. At Trev, he will work closely with Founder and CEO Naveen Gupta on operations and expansion.
The appointment comes as Trev moves beyond its established city travel operations and increases its focus on longer journeys and additional markets.
The company began operations with two electric vehicles and has since expanded to a fleet of more than 100 EVs. It has completed over 75,000 rides and recently entered Jaipur, its first market outside Delhi NCR.
He added, “Ayush brings valuable experience from building and operating a chauffeur-driven fleet business, along with a strong understanding of fleet economics, utilisation and on-ground operations. That experience will be important as we build Trev’s next phase.”
Trev currently operates electric vehicles across airport transfers, city travel, chauffeur driven rentals, corporate travel, outstation mobility and longer journeys.
As operations expand into additional cities, the company is focusing on repeatable processes covering fleet management, chauffeur quality, vehicle utilisation and customer experience.
Long haul and intercity journeys require coordination across fleet availability, chauffeur deployment, vehicle uptime, charging schedules, route planning and service delivery across multiple locations.
Having established its operating model in Delhi NCR, Trev is now developing the systems required to support electric mobility across different journey types and geographies.
Agrawal will focus on fleet deployment and utilisation, chauffeur operations, city teams and service delivery as the company increases the scale of its operations.
His previous experience includes managing and scaling a chauffeur driven mobility business at Shoffr, with exposure to fleet economics, utilisation and ground operations.
Naveen Gupta, Founder and CEO, Trev Mobility, said, “India’s EV ecosystem is moving into a phase where the conversation has to go beyond putting more electric vehicles on the road. The next opportunity is to build operating models that can make EVs work reliably across different use cases, including long-haul and intercity mobility.”
Agrawal will oversee these operational areas as Trev adds vehicles, enters new markets and develops the teams and systems required for its expansion.
Ayush Agrawal, Co-founder and COO, Trev Mobility, said, “Having worked on the fleet operations side of chauffeur-driven mobility, I have seen how much the success of an EV fleet depends on what happens beyond the vehicle itself.”
He added, “Utilisation, charging, chauffeur deployment, route planning and service consistency all become critical as the distance and complexity of journeys increase. Trev has an opportunity to build this operating model with EVs at the centre, particularly across long-haul and intercity travel, and I am excited to work with Naveen and the team on building that at scale.”
Trev Mobility operates an all electric fleet across Delhi NCR and Jaipur. The company will continue to focus on fleet expansion, additional markets and operating capabilities as it develops its electric mobility business.
