India’s innerwear and shapewear market is witnessing increased consumer demand, with brands focusing on comfort and functionality as key differentiators.
Pinq Polka has secured ₹4 crore in a Pre Series A round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The funding will be used to expand marketing efforts, strengthen the team and support working capital requirements.
Founded by Manveen Ssharma, the brand operates in the innerwear and shapewear segment, with a focus on products designed for everyday comfort and fit. The company has seen rapid growth over the past three years, with revenue increasing from ₹1.22 crore in FY23 to ₹20 crore.

The brand gained wider visibility following its appearance on Shark Tank India Season 4, contributing to increased recognition among consumers.
Vinay Bansal, Founder and CEO of Inflection Point Ventures, said, “The innerwear and shapewear market in India is evolving as consumers prioritise comfort, fit and self expression. Brands that address real consumer needs are positioned to grow in this segment.”
Manveen Ssharma, Founder of Pinq Polka, said, “The focus has been on addressing everyday challenges in women’s innerwear through design and research. The aim is to build products that align with comfort and usability.”

The broader market for lingerie and intimate wear in India is estimated at ₹50,000 crore and is projected to grow significantly over the coming years, with shapewear and comfort wear emerging as key segments.
Inflection Point Ventures has invested over ₹1200 crore across more than 280 startups, reflecting continued investor interest in early stage consumer brands.
The development highlights how niche segments within personal wear are attracting investment as consumer preferences shift toward comfort driven products.
