The Hyderabad based hospital network said its YouTube channel has crossed 180 million views across more than 3,600 videos, while Shalabh Dang, Chief of Sales and Marketing, CARE Hospitals, said the milestone reflects the growing role of digital platforms in accurate and patient centric healthcare communication.

Access to reliable medical information is becoming a bigger part of how patients and families approach healthcare, and CARE Hospitals says that shift is reflected in the growth of its official YouTube channel, which has crossed 1.2 million subscribers.
The hospital network said the milestone places its channel among the country’s most followed healthcare platforms on YouTube and points to increasing audience trust in doctor led health information, expert insights, and patient education. The channel has focused on evidence based content intended to help viewers better understand symptoms, treatment options, and the need for timely care.

The development comes at a time when digital platforms are playing a larger role in healthcare decisions and concerns around misinformation remain high. CARE Hospitals said its YouTube presence has become a direct way for doctors and specialists to engage with the public outside conventional clinical settings through educational videos, awareness campaigns, and expert discussions.
According to the hospital group, the channel has recorded over 180 million views across more than 3,600 videos spanning cardiology, oncology, nephrology, neurology, robotics, and preventive healthcare. It said videos around heart disease, cancer awareness, and kidney health have seen particularly strong engagement, reflecting rising public interest in prevention and early understanding of medical conditions.

Shalabh Dang, Chief of Sales and Marketing, CARE Hospitals, said, “Crossing 1.2 million subscribers is a significant milestone for CARE Hospitals, but more importantly, it underscores the vital role digital platforms now play in healthcare communication. In an era where patients increasingly rely on online sources for health related information, hospitals have a responsibility to provide trusted, accurate, and patient centric content. We believe digital platforms are essential to improving awareness, combating misinformation, and strengthening the connection between medical experts and the communities they serve.”
Jeevan Kommu, Head of Digital Strategy and Growth, CARE Hospitals, added, “This achievement is the result of consistent effort from our digital team, strong leadership support, and the willingness of our doctors to embrace digital platforms. Most importantly, it belongs to the millions of viewers who chose credible medical information over misinformation. We will continue to build meaningful, informative, and impactful content for our audiences.”

CARE Hospitals said the milestone reflects the combined effort of its leadership, medical experts, and digital teams in building content that is informative and easy to access. Looking ahead, the hospital group said it plans to expand its digital reach through multilingual content, deeper patient engagement, and more expert led conversations aimed at making healthcare easier to understand for wider audiences.
CARE Hospitals is part of Quality Care India Ltd., backed by Blackstone. Along with CARE Hospitals, the group also operates Evercare Bangladesh and KIMSHEALTH Kerala. CARE Hospitals runs 17 healthcare facilities across seven cities in six states and provides care across more than 33 clinical specialties with over 3,000 beds.
