Mumbai, March 31, 2026: UST has announced the third edition of the Trivandrum Marathon, which will be held on November 15 in Thiruvananthapuram, in partnership with execution partner NEB Sports.
The upcoming edition is expected to be the largest marathon organised in Kerala’s capital, with participation projected to exceed 15,000 runners across multiple categories.
The marathon will feature four race formats, including Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K runs. The route will begin from the UST campus, pass through key parts of the city, and conclude at the same location.
The event is also expected to see participation from UST employees across its centres in India, along with runners from different parts of the country.
Alexander Varghese, President, UST, said, “UST takes great pleasure in announcing the third edition of Kerala’s largest marathon. The response to the previous editions highlighted the importance of physical and mental well being. This year’s event will continue to promote awareness around fitness while bringing together participants from across the country.”
Nagaraj Adiga, CMD, NEB Sports, said, “Our association with UST has helped build one of the largest running events in Kerala. With over 10000 participants in the previous edition, we expect this year’s marathon to cross 15000 runners and further strengthen its position as a major fitness event in the region.”
The previous edition of the marathon saw participation from more than 10,000 runners, establishing it as a key sporting event in Kerala.
