Dr. P. R. Sodani, President of IIHMR University, and Prof. Ranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of Shobhit University, said the collaboration will focus on research, faculty exchange and student engagement in healthcare education
Collaboration between academic institutions in healthcare is gaining importance as the sector evolves, with IIHMR University entering into a three year partnership with Shobhit University.
The agreement focuses on strengthening cooperation in health management and allied fields through joint research, faculty exchange and student engagement. Both institutions will work together on academic initiatives designed to support interdisciplinary learning.
As part of the collaboration, workshops, seminars, conferences and training programmes will be organised to encourage knowledge exchange and build academic capacity across both institutions.
Dr. P. R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, said, “We strongly believe that collaborative engagements are essential to address the evolving challenges of the healthcare sector. The collaboration will not only enhance learning opportunities for students and faculty but also contribute to developing innovative, evidence based solutions for the healthcare ecosystem.”
The MoU was formally signed between Dr. P. R. Sodani and Prof. Ranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, Shobhit University, marking the beginning of the academic partnership.
Such collaborations reflect a broader shift in higher education, where institutions are increasingly working together to combine research, learning and practical exposure, particularly in sectors such as healthcare that require multidisciplinary approaches.
