Dr C N Gopinath Reddy, Chairman of KKL HITECH EV India, said the expansion into Telangana aligns with growing EV adoption and demand across the region
Electric vehicle retail networks are expanding across key urban markets as companies look to strengthen their presence in high demand regions.
KKL Group has entered the Telangana market with the opening of its first dealership, Dandu’s Electrical Vehicles, in Hyderabad. The facility marks the company’s initial step in building its retail footprint in the state.
The dealership was inaugurated by Dr C N Gopinath Reddy, Former Director General of Police of Composite Andhra Pradesh and Chairman of KKL HITECH EV India Private Limited, in the presence of industry representatives and officials.
The expansion comes at a time when electric two wheeler adoption is gaining traction in Telangana, supported by policy measures, infrastructure development and increasing consumer awareness. The segment currently represents a small share of overall vehicle sales but continues to grow steadily.
Dr C N Gopinath Reddy said, “India is transitioning towards clean mobility with Telangana showing increasing interest in the EV market. This marks the entry of KKL in the region and supports local manufacturing while expanding access to electric mobility solutions.”
The company offers a range of electric vehicle models including scooters, bikes, auto loaders, passenger vehicles and mini cars. These models are designed to cater to a wide range of users, including personal and commercial segments.
AdaiKalam Shanmugam, Managing Director of KKL, said, “The long term outlook for the electric two wheeler segment remains strong. There are growth opportunities across different markets, and we are focusing on region specific strategies to expand our presence.”
KKL plans to scale its dealership network in Telangana by adding multiple outlets over the coming financial year. The company is targeting cities with strong two wheeler demand while also exploring institutional and corporate sales opportunities.
Dr Venkata K Ganjam, Director at KKL, said, “We aim to expand across South India with a broader dealership network and increase sales through consistent market presence and operational planning.”
The company also indicated plans to explore battery manufacturing and charging infrastructure as part of its long term strategy to support electric mobility growth.
KKL Group operates across multiple business segments and has experience in electric vehicle distribution and services. The Hyderabad dealership will be operated by local partners, marking the beginning of the company’s regional expansion strategy.
