Roop Kaistha, Regional Managing Director APAC at AMS, said GCC Flex aims to reduce hiring cycles by 30 percent with sub 30 day recruitment timelines for India based Global Capability Centers.
India’s Global Capability Centers are expanding rapidly as multinational companies increase investments in technology, analytics and innovation hubs across major cities.
AMS has introduced GCC Flex, a hiring system designed to support recruitment for India based Global Capability Centers as demand rises for professionals in digital, cloud, artificial intelligence and risk management roles.
India has become a key destination for Global Capability Centers, with cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune attracting continuous investment. Industry estimates indicate that more than 100 mid sized GCCs are expected to be established annually, intensifying competition for specialised talent.
As hiring volumes increase, many organisations face challenges including long interview cycles, inconsistent compensation benchmarks and limited visibility across recruitment pipelines. These factors can lead to candidate drop offs and early stage attrition.
Roop Kaistha, Regional Managing Director APAC at AMS, said, “India’s GCCs are playing an increasingly strategic role in global capability strategy. With rising competition for digital and risk talent, speed alone is insufficient. Hiring requires disciplined processes, measurable outcomes and strong governance oversight. GCC Flex provides a structured operating model that improves predictability and supports sustained scale aligned to business priorities.”
The system integrates consulting support, specialist hiring teams and technology driven recruitment workflows through the AMS One platform to manage recruitment activity within a single operating structure.
The model is designed to support organisations at different stages of development. Newly established GCCs can deploy hiring operations without significant upfront infrastructure investment, while mid sized centres can scale recruitment through specialised hiring teams focused on technology, analytics, shared services and innovation roles.
More established GCCs can also use the system to stabilise hiring pipelines and reduce replacement hiring through improved workforce planning and talent mapping.
According to AMS, the model targets at least a 30 percent reduction in hiring cycle times and aims to enable critical roles to be filled within 30 days. Structured interview processes and faster offer timelines are also expected to improve offer acceptance rates.
AMS facilitates more than 35,000 hires annually across multiple markets, including a strong focus on early careers and campus hiring programmes.
As India continues to attract global investment in capability centers, companies are increasingly focusing on hiring models that provide visibility, speed and consistency in talent acquisition.
