Kaushik Banerjee has been appointed Managing Director while Anirban Banerjee takes charge as Interim Chief Executive Officer as the company strengthens its leadership across finance, compliance, marketing and technology.

Indian dating platform Flutrr has announced a leadership transition as it prepares for its next phase of growth across product development, brand, operations and governance.
Under the new leadership structure, Kaushik Banerjee has been appointed Managing Director and will oversee the company’s long term vision, strategic direction and organisational growth. Anirban Banerjee has been named Interim Chief Executive Officer and will lead strategic and operational execution.

In an official statement, the company said, “Every great company is defined by leaders who inspire progress, challenge convention, and build for the future. This reflects our commitment to building a stronger, future ready organization, supported by a leadership team equipped to drive our next phase of growth.”
Flutrr has also expanded its senior leadership team with appointments across key business functions. Anchita Kaushik has joined as Chief Financial Officer, Hitesh Bhansali has been appointed Chief Compliance Officer, Ankit Santra has been elevated to Chief Marketing Officer and Sougata De has taken charge as Chief Technology Officer.

According to the company, the expanded leadership team will focus on strengthening brand development, technology, governance and business operations as Flutrr continues to grow its presence in India’s dating platform market.
Flutrr positions itself as a platform for people seeking serious relationships and meaningful connections. The company offers a multilingual experience with support for up to 16 Indian languages, along with verification led onboarding, Artificial Intelligence assisted matchmaking and privacy focused features designed for Indian users.

The company said its approach has helped build a distinct identity by focusing on compatibility, trust and accessibility for users beyond English language dating platforms.
Flutrr has also secured funding to support its growth. In 2023, the company raised ₹4 crore from investors including The Times of India Group and The Chennai Angels. In 2024, it announced an additional investment of ₹3.75 crore from Zee Media.
Commenting on the transition, the company said, “Flutrr has always been about helping people find genuine compatibility in a way that feels more natural, more local and more respectful of how India actually dates. This new leadership structure gives us the right foundation to move faster, think bigger and build with greater clarity.”
According to Flutrr, the strengthened leadership structure is intended to support continued innovation, operational execution and long term business growth.
