Summercool Home Appliances Ltd. has announced the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in Ghaziabad, marking a significant expansion of its production capabilities and investment in Uttar Pradesh’s industrial ecosystem.
The project was inaugurated with a Bhumi Pujan ceremony for the proposed 5 acre manufacturing hub, which is expected to involve an investment of approximately ₹250 crore. The upcoming facility is expected to generate more than 1,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, contributing to local economic development and skill creation.
The plant will manufacture a diversified range of home and kitchen appliances, including washing machines, air coolers, televisions, induction cooktops, mixers and other consumer appliances. The expansion is aimed at increasing the company’s manufacturing capacity while meeting growing demand across India’s consumer durable market.
Production at the new facility is scheduled to commence in October, coinciding with the Navratri festive season. The company also plans to establish additional manufacturing plants as part of its long term expansion strategy.
