Cloud Adoption Shapes Expansion Plans as Grand Continent Hotels Partners Hotelogix for Centralised Operations

Hotel groups in India are increasingly turning to cloud based systems as they expand operations across multiple locations and require unified control over performance and processes.
Grand Continent Hotels Ltd. has adopted Hotelogix’s cloud based multi property management system to centralise operations across its portfolio. The move is aimed at improving operational visibility and enabling faster onboarding of new properties as the group expands.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, Grand Continent Hotels Ltd. currently operates 25 properties with more than 1200 rooms. The portfolio includes 12 directly managed properties across India and Dubai, with the remaining properties affiliated with another Indian group. The company follows an asset light model and is targeting expansion to 5000 rooms by 2028.
The transition comes after the group faced limitations with its earlier on premises system, which restricted centralised oversight across properties. As operations expanded, the lack of a unified performance view became a constraint for management.

Abhijeet Shrivastava, Chief Operating Officer at Grand Continent Hotels Ltd., said, “Upgrading to Hotelogix is about enabling centralised operations, standardised processes and real time visibility into key performance indicators. As a listed company, we also required a system that supports compliance and data security.”
He added that the company has been able to onboard properties more quickly with the new system, noting that its 122 room property in Dubai was integrated within 10 to 12 days while meeting regulatory requirements from the start.

Financially, the company reported operational income growth of 132.5 percent year on year to approximately ₹7,262 lakh in FY25, while EBITDA increased 94 percent to ₹1,918 lakh with a margin of 26.41 percent. The company recorded occupancy levels of 61 percent, with average room rates rising to ₹3,830 and revenue per available room reaching ₹2,447.
