Nitin Bir of Brookfield Properties said the event brought together collectors, enthusiasts and visitors, turning Worldmark Aerocity into a space celebrating automotive history and community engagement
Vintage motoring took centre stage in Delhi as Worldmark Aerocity hosted a two day Vintage Car Rally and Display, bringing together collectors, enthusiasts and visitors around a shared interest in classic automobiles.
Curated in collaboration with the Heritage Motoring Club of India, led by Diljeet Titus, the event featured 18 vintage cars along with select classic motorbikes, presented by private collectors.
The event began with a heritage rally through Aerocity, where participants drove vintage cars in a non competitive format, focusing on craftsmanship and legacy rather than speed. The rally concluded at Worldmark, where the vehicles were displayed for visitors.
The showcase included models such as the 1919 Ford Model T, 1930 Mercedes Benz 260 Stuttgart, 1957 Bentley S1, 1968 Mini Cooper and 1970 Mercedes Benz 280S, offering a view into different eras of automotive design.
Visitors also engaged with collectors and specialists through guided walkthroughs, learning about the history, restoration and significance of these vehicles. The experience was supported by hospitality offerings across the venue.
Nitin Bir, Vice President Retail Leasing, Brookfield Properties, said, “The Vintage Car Rally and Display at Worldmark Aerocity brought together collectors, enthusiasts and visitors in a shared space. Such experiences contribute to making the destination more engaging for the community.”
The event saw participation from families and automobile enthusiasts across the two days. It reflects a growing trend where lifestyle destinations are hosting curated experiences that combine culture, leisure and community engagement.
