AI Governance Takes Centre Stage at KLH Global Business School Leadership Summit

Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President of KL Deemed to be University, said the summit focused on strengthening industry and academic collaboration while preparing students for responsible use of Artificial Intelligence.

KLH Global Business School hosted the AI Leadership Summit 2026 in Hyderabad, bringing together technology leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs and academic institutions to discuss the growing role of Artificial Intelligence and AI governance across industries.
Organised in collaboration with the IIT Kharagpur Alumni Association, Hyderabad Chapter, and Astravion AI, the summit focused on Artificial Intelligence applications in financial services, insurance, retail technology and enterprise operations, while examining the importance of responsible AI practices.

Participants represented organisations including Deloitte Consulting, Tata Consultancy Services, Bank of America, Thoughtworks, Novartis, JP Morgan Chase, Survey of India, BHEL, TechBulls, DeepTraq AI, Optificial Labs, Tavant, KODRYX AI, Ashland, Serene Business Solutions, Aptmize Systems, KITS Warangal, the University of Hyderabad and JNTU Hyderabad.

Through initiatives like the AI Leadership Summit 2026, we aim to build stronger partnerships between academia and industry while preparing students to become innovators, entrepreneurs, and ethical AI technology leaders capable of addressing real world challenges.”

Discussions during the summit covered AI governance, fraud detection, predictive analytics, intelligent banking systems, insurance applications, retail technologies and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence across industries.
Speakers also discussed the role of universities in introducing project based learning and stronger industry engagement to help students develop practical knowledge aligned with changing workplace requirements.
The event included panel discussions and networking sessions that encouraged exchanges between industry professionals, researchers and educators on the practical use of Artificial Intelligence.

The summit was attended by Dr. N. Venkatram, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Srinath, Dean, Skilling, Dr. Anand Bethapudi, Dean, KLH Global Business School, along with faculty members, researchers, students and industry representatives.
KLH Global Business School said it will continue working with industry partners to support research, practical learning and responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence in higher education.
