A fully funded educational exchange supported by the Government of Belarus and the Anandilal Podar Trust enabled 19 Indian students and two teachers to participate in a seven day programme focused on academic learning, leadership development and cultural engagement.

Nineteen Indian students and two teachers participated in the seven day Belarus India: On the Wings of Friendship initiative, jointly supported by the Government of Belarus and the Anandilal Podar Trust to promote academic collaboration, cultural exchange and youth engagement.

National, 15 July 2026: The Government of Belarus, in collaboration with the Anandilal Podar Trust, has strengthened educational ties with India by hosting 19 Indian students and two teachers under a fully funded International Cultural and Educational Exchange Programme.
The seven day initiative, conducted from 27 June to 3 July 2026, forms part of the expanding India Belarus Bilateral Education Initiative, which aims to encourage academic collaboration, cultural understanding and long term engagement between young people from both countries.

Jointly funded by the Government of Belarus and the Anandilal Podar Trust, the programme covered international travel, accommodation and all participation costs, ensuring that selected students could take part irrespective of their financial background.
Held under the theme Belarus India: On the Wings of Friendship, the exchange introduced participants to Belarus’ education system, history, culture and innovation ecosystem while providing an opportunity for the Indian delegation to represent the country’s cultural heritage, traditional arts and folk traditions.

The delegation was hosted at the Zubrenok National Children’s Educational and Wellness Centre, located within Narochansky National Park. The institution is recognised in Belarus for its focus on youth education and international cooperation.
During the programme, students participated in academic workshops, leadership sessions, cultural exchanges and visits to educational institutions, museums and historical landmarks. The itinerary also included wellness activities such as balneotherapy and aromatherapy, reflecting the country’s integrated approach to education and youth development.

The exchange programme is one of the initiatives supporting the growing educational partnership between India and Belarus. By jointly funding every aspect of the programme, the Government of Belarus and the Anandilal Podar Trust sought to ensure that participation was based on merit rather than financial capacity, making international learning opportunities accessible to deserving students.
The initiative reflects the continuing focus of both partners on encouraging educational collaboration, cross cultural understanding and international exposure for young learners through structured exchange programmes.
