NO LAW, Project ZETA, Age Twisters, TARAE: The Unbound and PUBG: DED.NET form the publisher’s upcoming lineup across open world, tactical, cooperative and dark fantasy genres
Cologne, Germany and Bangalore, India, August 27, 2026: KRAFTON presented five upcoming games at its Media Day during Gamescom 2026 in Germany, outlining how it plans to develop new titles while extending existing franchises such as PUBG into different formats.
The presentation featured NO LAW, Project ZETA, Age Twisters, TARAE: The Unbound and PUBG: DED.NET. The games come from different studios and cover genres ranging from open world action and tactical multiplayer to cooperative adventure and dark fantasy.
Taeseok Jang, Head of Global Publishing and PUBG Franchise at KRAFTON, opened the presentation by discussing the development of PUBG over nearly a decade and the company’s experience of building the franchise alongside its players.
“Creating games that are remembered for years is difficult, and it takes time. There are no shortcuts, and there is no easy path. Just as PUBG endured that journey and reached its fans, I hope the games on this stage will ultimately reach theirs and be loved as well,” Jang said.
“We will keep moving boldly forward on that journey, together with our players,” he added.
NO LAW was introduced by Claës af Burén, CEO of Neon Giant. The open world FPS RPG is set in Port Desire, a lawless city where systems respond to player decisions and actions. The studio is developing the game around player choice, with different actions affecting opportunities, threats and events within its world.
Project ZETA takes a different approach to multiplayer competition. Presented by NIRVANANA CEO Namseok Kim, the game is described as a Multi Team Tactical Arena title.
Instead of using the traditional lane structure associated with MOBAs, Project ZETA places four teams of three players into objective based combat from the beginning of a match. The studio plans to continue testing the game globally while developing it with feedback from players.
Age Twisters, from Piccolo Studio, is a two player cooperative adventure centred on a grandfather and granddaughter.
Co Founders and Directors Jordi Ministral and Alexis Corominas said the game follows the two characters through four stages of life. Their different abilities and changing conversations are incorporated into both the gameplay and story.
TARAE: The Unbound introduces an Eastern dark fantasy setting inspired by the Buddhist concepts of reincarnation and karma.
Boundary CEO Inyoung Koo presented the action RPG, which draws on East Asian mythology, aesthetics and cultural influences for its setting, character classes, combat and story.
The fifth title extends the PUBG franchise beyond its established battle royale format.
PUBG: DED.NET was introduced by Dave Curd, Creative Director at PUBG STUDIOS. Set in Cascadia in 1996, the game takes inspiration from the Pacific Northwest during the 1990s and uses a roguelite run structure in which individual sessions and player choices influence what follows.
KRAFTON is presenting all five games at Gamescom 2026, which runs from August 26 to 30 in Cologne, Germany.
Visitors can see the lineup through programmes at the KRAFTON booth in Hall 9 at Koelnmesse.
