New headquarters brings Hisense and Toshiba portfolios under one roof as the company targets growth from US$100 million to US$150 million by CY26
Hisense has opened its first Product Experience Centre in India along with a new headquarters at AIPL Masterpiece in Gurugram, marking the next phase of the consumer electronics and home appliances company’s expansion in the country.
The new centre brings together Hisense products across televisions, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and other home appliances. It also features Toshiba televisions, providing partners and stakeholders with access to products currently available in India as well as models planned for introduction in the coming months.
Among the television technologies displayed at the centre are Hisense RGB MiniLED TVs and Laser TV. The space also features the Intelli Cool Pro series of air conditioners and the company’s recently introduced top load and semi automatic washing machines.
Hisense’s flagship UX RGB MiniLED series is represented through 100 inch and 116 inch models. Toshiba’s 85ZXSP 85 inch television is also on display.
The upcoming portfolio presented at the centre includes smart screen and double door refrigerators, Triple drum X Zone Master and front load washing machines, Hisense Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning products, dishwashers, microwave ovens and air fryers.
According to the company, these products will be introduced in India in phases at regular intervals.
Pankaj Rana, CEO, Hisense India, said, “The opening of our first Product Experience Centre in India marks an important milestone in our journey in the country. We are expanding beyond televisions to build a full fledged multi category consumer appliances brand, supported by a wider retail presence, a growing product portfolio and increasing localisation. The centre brings our Hisense and Toshiba TV portfolios together and gives our partners and stakeholders an opportunity to experience the products we have in the market today and those planned for India in the coming months. As we expand, our focus will remain on bringing relevant products and technology to Indian consumers while building a strong and long term presence in the market.”
The opening comes as Hisense India expands its physical retail presence across the country. Its retail partners include myG, Nandilath, Reliance Digital, Sonovision, Khosla Electronics, Patra Electronics, Sathya Agencies and Great Eastern Retail.
The company also has a presence across online platforms including Amazon and Flipkart.
Hisense India expects offline channels to account for nearly 70% of its business this year, reflecting the role of physical retail in the company’s expansion strategy.
The company is targeting growth from US$100 million to US$150 million by CY26, with the upcoming festive season expected to contribute to sales.
Hisense India has also expanded its local manufacturing operations. Its first manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, currently produces washing machines and air conditioners.
The company said it will continue to focus on local manufacturing, product localisation and products developed around the requirements of Indian consumers as its operations in the country expand.
