Sumit Walia, Vice President, Head of D2C Business and Corporate Marketing at Samsung India, said Certified Re Newed offers a trusted route to premium Galaxy experiences at more accessible prices.

Samsung has introduced its Certified Re Newed programme in India as refurbished premium smartphones gain wider relevance among consumers looking for reliable devices at more accessible price points.
The programme will offer refurbished Galaxy smartphones, including flagship and mid range models, with company backed assurance, genuine Samsung parts, software updates and a one year manufacturer warranty.
Samsung said the Certified Re Newed programme is designed to maintain its standards for reliability, security and user experience while giving consumers access to premium Galaxy devices at reduced prices. The initiative also supports longer product lifecycles at a time when affordability and trust are becoming important factors in the refurbished smartphone category.

All devices under the programme will go through Samsung’s in house refurbishment process, which includes detailed inspection, functional testing and software validation. The devices will be restored using genuine Samsung parts and packaged in new boxes.
Each smartphone will be reset to ensure complete data removal and will receive the latest software updates to support long term usability. Certified Re Newed devices will carry a one year manufacturer warranty, in line with new Galaxy smartphones.
“At Samsung, we are focused on expanding access to our technology while maintaining the quality and reliability that consumers expect from Galaxy devices. The Certified Re Newed programme reflects this approach by offering a trusted pathway to premium experiences at more accessible price points,” said Sumit Walia, Vice President, Head of D2C Business and Corporate Marketing, Samsung India.

The move places Samsung in India’s refurbished smartphone market with a company backed offering focused on quality control, warranty support and affordability for consumers seeking premium Galaxy devices.
