AI led air conditioning gets wider play as Samsung introduces 2026 cooling lineup

Starting at INR 32,490, Samsung’s 2026 Bespoke AI WindFree range includes 23 models for Indian homes, with AI Energy Mode designed to reduce power use by up to 30 percent through usage pattern analysis, compressor optimisation, and connected controls via SmartThings.

Energy efficient cooling is taking a more prominent place in the home appliance market as Samsung expands its air conditioning lineup in India with the 2026 Bespoke AI WindFree range. The new portfolio brings together AI based controls, connected features, and energy saving functions aimed at households looking for more responsive cooling systems.
The range includes 23 AI powered AC models and is designed to reduce power use by up to 30 percent. At the centre of the offering is AI Energy Mode, which analyses room conditions, user preferences, and usage patterns to optimise compressor operation and cooling intensity. By adjusting temperature settings and performance levels, the system is intended to maintain cooling while lowering power consumption.

Samsung has also equipped the lineup with AI Digital Inverter Control, which continuously senses the air conditioner’s operating status to manage compressor frequency. According to the company, this reduces unnecessary operation, improves stability, and supports quieter performance. The ACs also include a BLDC motor with neodymium magnets for stronger rotation, while the twin compressor design is intended to deliver lower vibration compared to a single compressor setup. Samsung’s Twin Muffler is designed to reduce refrigerant flow noise for improved acoustic comfort.
The range also carries Samsung’s WindFree Cooling technology, which disperses air through 23,000 micro air holes to create an evenly cooled environment without strong cold drafts or sudden temperature fluctuations.

Smart connectivity remains a key part of the lineup. Integrated with the SmartThings ecosystem, the ACs allow users to monitor and control energy usage in real time through the SmartThings app. Consumers can remotely manage temperature settings, activate AI Energy Mode, track energy consumption patterns, and receive maintenance alerts through SmartThings Home Care.
The range also includes Welcome and Away Care features, which are designed to detect when users are approaching home and remind them to switch on the AC, while also notifying them if an air conditioner has been left on after they leave so that it can be turned off remotely.

Priced from INR 32,490, the 2026 Bespoke AI WindFree range is available through leading retail outlets and online platforms. Samsung says the lineup has been tailored for Indian homes and climate conditions, with a focus on giving energy conscious consumers more choice across connected cooling solutions.
