Vinay Agastya, Founder and CEO of Ctruh, said the $2.5 million round led by Inflection Point Ventures will support research, product development, and expansion into the United States and the UAE.
Ctruh, a Bengaluru based deep tech startup focused on building infrastructure for the spatial internet, has raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures.
The round also saw participation from Avinya Ventures, India Accelerator, Founder’s Avenue, Anthill Ventures, LVX, and angel investors including Vivek Sinha and Shivakumar Ganesan. The company said the funds will be used to strengthen research and development, advance its product stack, and scale go to market efforts across the United States and the UAE.
Founded in 2023, Ctruh is developing a browser native 3D engine along with VersaAI, its generative AI platform, aimed at simplifying the creation and deployment of immersive 3D and XR experiences on the web.
Vinay Agastya, Founder and CEO, Ctruh, said, “At Ctruh, our focus has always been to simplify technology for businesses by making advanced solutions more accessible. We are building an infrastructure for the upcoming generation of digital experiences, where our goal is to create spatial experiences for every business, regardless of size and scale.”
The company’s technology is designed to allow high quality immersive experiences to run directly in browsers without requiring installations, software kits, or specialised hardware. It combines 3D, AI, and extended reality technologies to support use cases across retail, automotive, real estate, education, and healthcare.
Vinay Bansal, CEO and Co Founder, Inflection Point Ventures, said the company’s approach stands out in a crowded AI landscape.
He said, “Its patented 3D engine enables high fidelity experiences to run smoothly on the web with fast load times. What stands out is how they are combining AI with 3D and XR to scale immersive content creation, making these experiences usable and scalable for business applications.”
Ctruh has also gained visibility through its appearance on Shark Tank India, where it received an offer from Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh.
The company has developed Commverse Studio, described as an AI powered unified XR commerce platform that allows businesses to deploy immersive experiences in a short time frame. Its VersaAI engine converts images, text, and video into 3D assets, reducing the time required for content creation.
With a team of 36, the company is preparing to expand internationally as demand for immersive digital experiences continues to grow.
The global extended reality market is projected to reach $346 billion in 2026 and grow further in the coming years, with India emerging as a fast growing market supported by policy initiatives and cost advantages in software development.
