From Student Forum to 6.5 Million Users, Beep Charts Next Phase of Growth

Beep secured 850K USD in a Pre Series A round backed by Knowhere Ventures LLC, Pacific Global Solutions Limited and LeadAngels FLV, taking its total funding to 1.5M USD. Saurabh Mangrulkar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Beep, India, outlines plans to scale to 5 million users and onboard 150 new colleges across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.

Pune, February 17, 2026: Beep, a Pune based EdTech startup focused on career acceleration and AI led hiring, has secured 850K USD in a Pre Series A funding round. The round included Knowhere Ventures LLC, Pacific Global Solutions Limited and LeadAngels FLV, along with individual investors Vipul Prakash, Founder, wowJobs, and Sandeep Johri, Chief Executive Officer, Checkmarx. With this raise, the company’s total funding now stands at 1.5M USD.
The capital will be used to expand the platform’s reach to 5 million users and onboard 150 additional colleges over the next nine months. The company will also invest in expanding industry aligned programs aimed at equipping students with skills directly linked to hiring demand.

Beep currently runs more than 28 live programs spanning design, work ready certification and experiential internship tracks. These programs are structured to help learners transition from education to employment.
Saurabh Mangrulkar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Beep, India, said, “Students in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities have the same ambition as those in Tier 1 markets, but access is unequal. This funding supports our effort to build a scalable career ecosystem where students can explore, learn and earn with clearer employment pathways. We have introduced upgrades across the platform, including AI career tools, job ready learning programs and improved recruiter and college workflows.”

Founded in 2021 by Saurabh Mangrulkar, Rakhi Pal and Yogesh Nogia, Beep began during the second wave of COVID 19 as a student discussion space. It has since evolved into a career ecosystem serving over 6.5 million users, partnering with more than 1,500 colleges and working with 7,800 hiring companies across India.
The platform integrates mentorship, structured learning, resume support and AI powered hiring tools. Its offerings include a career building app, placement supported upskilling programs, UniBeep for institutional placement management and BeepHire.ai for fresher recruitment.
The funding comes as employability focused education platforms increasingly align learning outcomes with workforce readiness across emerging markets in India.
