Students from government schools across Uttar Pradesh will receive competitive examination coaching through institutes including Aakash and Physics Wallah. The initiative involves SEEDS and Samagra Shiksha, while Mankind Pharma's KindCare programme supports digital learning in government schools.
Sheetal Arora, Founder of Wellspur Foundation and CEO, Promoter and Whole Time Director of Mankind Pharma, met scholarship recipients in Lucknow as the programme prepared to extend support across five districts, alongside digital classroom initiatives under KindCare.
The Wellspur Foundation has recognised 38 meritorious students from government schools across Uttar Pradesh under a scholarship programme providing coaching support for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
The selected students will receive coaching support at institutes including Aakash and Physics Wallah, along with guidance and resources to help them prepare for competitive examinations and pursue careers in medicine and engineering.
The scholarship programme is being implemented with the Social Empowerment and Economic Development Society (SEEDS), New Delhi, and in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha (Secondary), Uttar Pradesh.
A felicitation programme held in Lucknow brought together scholarship recipients, their parents and teachers. Students received scholarship kits and participated in sessions where they shared their academic experiences and discussed preparations for competitive examinations.
Sheetal Arora, Founder of Wellspur Foundation and CEO, Promoter and Whole Time Director of Mankind Pharma, attended the event and interacted with students and their families.
During his visit, Arora also visited Rajkiya Mahatma Gandhi Girls Inter College in Chinhat and Mahamana Malaviya Vidya Mandir Inter College in Gomti Nagar to observe Digital Smart Classrooms supported through Mankind Pharma’s education initiatives.
The visits included discussions with teachers and students about their experiences with digital learning and the use of technology in government school classrooms.
The digital classroom initiative forms part of Mankind Pharma’s KindCare programme, which seeks to improve access to technology supported education. Teachers were also recognised for their effective use of Digital Smart Classrooms.
Speaking at the event, Sheetal Arora, Founder of Wellspur Foundation and CEO, Promoter & Whole-time Director of Mankind Pharma, said, “I believe we all have a role in creating the right environment for young people to learn, grow and pursue their aspirations. The scholarship programme is planned to extend its support across five districts of Uttar Pradesh: Lucknow, Meerut, Prayagraj, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur.
Through the initiative, the Wellspur Foundation intends to provide students from underserved backgrounds with access to coaching and academic guidance as they prepare for medical and engineering entrance examinations.
