Strategic collaboration focuses on governance, systems readiness and cross sector operating model transformation
Mumbai, February 24, 2026: Capgemini has joined the OpenAI Frontier Alliance as a founding member, positioning enterprise scale integration at the core of its latest strategic collaboration.
The partnership aims to help organisations move beyond pilot projects toward structured, enterprise wide deployment. While advanced systems have matured rapidly, many companies continue to face challenges in data readiness, operating model alignment, systems integration and governance oversight.
By combining Capgemini’s sector expertise, transformation consulting capabilities and global delivery network with OpenAI’s enterprise platform, the collaboration is designed to support businesses in building and managing digital coworkers that can operate reliably within complex corporate environments.
Brad Lightcap, Chief Operating Officer at OpenAI, said the partnership is intended to narrow the gap between technological capability and practical enterprise deployment.
Aiman Ezzat, Chief Executive Officer of Capgemini, stated that the collaboration reinforces Capgemini’s position in enterprise transformation by integrating domain knowledge with scalable platform capabilities.
As part of the alliance, Capgemini will establish a dedicated OpenAI Enterprise Frontier delivery function comprising certified specialists across its global ecosystem. The team will work alongside OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineering group to support clients in scaling operations across business units and geographies while maintaining governance standards and quality controls.
Initial focus sectors include consumer products and retail, financial services, life sciences, and energy and utilities. Industry specific operating models will be developed to address regulatory, compliance and domain requirements unique to each sector.
With organisations committing to multi year investment cycles, the emphasis is shifting toward disciplined integration, structured oversight and measurable performance outcomes. The partnership reflects a broader industry transition from experimentation to operational scale.
Capgemini reported global revenues of €22.5 billion in 2025 and operates in more than 50 countries with over 420,000 employees.
