Registrar Manish Madaan, UPES, said over 78 percent of eligible students have been placed with more than 2,600 offers and participation from over 700 recruiters across technology, consulting, law, and business sectors.

UPES has recorded strong mid season momentum in its Placements 2026 cycle, with more than 2,100 students placed so far.
According to the latest update, 2,126 students have secured placements, while a total of 2,677 offers have been extended. Over 78 percent of eligible students have been placed, with the highest compensation reaching ₹54 lakh per annum.
The placement cycle has seen participation from 704 recruiters, indicating continued industry demand for talent across multiple domains.

Hiring has been spread across sectors including information technology and ITeS, education and edutech, legal services, research and consulting, banking and financial services, energy, manufacturing, healthcare, and logistics.
The overall average CTC currently stands at ₹7.42 lakh per annum, while the top 10 percent of students have secured an average CTC of ₹16.60 lakh per annum. A total of 122 recruiters offered roles with compensation above ₹8 lakh per annum.

Manish Madaan, Registrar, UPES, said, “The strong mid-season placement outcomes reflect the depth of UPES’s industry linkages and the growing relevance of our academic approach. Our students are being hired not only in large numbers, but across diverse, future-facing roles in technology, consulting, business, law, engineering, healthcare, design and media.”
The School of Computer Science has led the placement cycle, with 941 students placed and 1,320 offers, along with the highest package of ₹54 lakh per annum and a top 10 percent average CTC of ₹20.42 lakh per annum.

The School of Business recorded 731 placements and 838 offers, with a highest package of ₹27.3 lakh per annum. The School of Law saw 230 students placed with 246 offers and an 87.12 percent placement rate.
Placements across the School of Advanced Engineering reached 127 students with 161 offers, while hiring continues across health sciences, design, and liberal studies programmes.
Sector wise, IT and ITeS accounted for the largest share at 36.6 percent, followed by education and edutech at 14.86 percent. Legal, research and consulting, and BFSI segments also contributed significantly to placements.
The current placement trend reflects a widening range of career opportunities, with demand emerging across both established industries and newer roles in areas such as data, artificial intelligence, cloud, and cybersecurity.
