Punchlines, Power Chords and Punjabi Pop Mark Opening Surge at AdVITya’26 at VIT Bhopal University

Pranav Sharma, The 9Teen Band and Rashmeet Kaur headline Day 1 as techno cultural fest opens with cross disciplinary competitions and live arena gaming

Sehore, MP, February 28, 2026: AdVITya’26, the annual techno cultural fest of VIT Bhopal University, commenced on February 26 with a line up that blended stand up comedy, technical competitions, gaming tournaments and live music performances.
Day 1 opened with stand up comic Pranav Sharma presenting Stand Up Uncut. His set drew from campus humour and social observations, setting an informal tone for the multi day festival.

The technical segment featured events such as TechTonic’26, Robo Mania, Battle Bots, Chakravyuh Vinash Protocol and Ultron Learn and Crack, where participants engaged in coding, robotics and problem solving challenges. Cyber Carnival Treasure Hunt, The Blackbox, Hawkathoon and Rocket League added competitive intensity with live format rounds.
Gaming events including VITB Gamer’s Asylum 6.0, V RCADE, Imposter Protocol, Play It Big Ludo and Ladders and Rush Arena turned the campus into a competitive arena, while Finance Carnival Deal or Dominate tested negotiation and strategic decision making. CTRL plus LOL and EvolFEST added interactive and experimental segments to the schedule.

Parallel to the competitions, cultural events such as Jhalak 26, Rang and Ruckus, Kavya Manch, Padharo Saa 3.0, Haryanvi Heat, Pandora’s House and Upside Down brought dance, poetry and regional showcases to the fore.
The evening transitioned into live music with Rock A’Blast building momentum toward the Artist Night on February 26. The 9Teen Band performed in pirate inspired attire, delivering mash ups of classic and contemporary Bollywood tracks that drew strong audience participation.

Singer Rashmeet Kaur followed with a performance that opened with Bajre Da Sitta and moved through a series of popular tracks, sustaining crowd engagement through the closing segment of Day 1.
Artist Night on February 27 will feature Rajasthani folk performer Jasu Khan Bisu.
AdVITya’26 continues across technical, entrepreneurial, gaming and cultural verticals, reflecting the multidisciplinary campus environment at VIT Bhopal University.
