The new portfolio includes the Sailor Nav smartwatch with 4G calling and location tracking, alongside Sailor Play headphones designed for safer listening for children.
boAt has expanded into the kids lifestyle technology segment with the launch of its new Kid Series, introducing connected devices designed for children and their families.
The new range is led by the Sailor Nav smartwatch, which combines communication, location tracking and safety features, and the Sailor Play wireless headphones, developed with child friendly audio features for everyday learning and entertainment.
According to the company, the launch reflects growing demand for technology that supports children’s independence while addressing parents’ concerns around safety and connectivity.
Commenting on the launch, Gaurav Nayyar, Chief Executive Officer, boAt, said, “Technology has become an increasingly natural part of childhood, shaping how children learn, play and stay connected. At the same time, parents are looking for products that are designed specifically for younger users balancing safety, comfort and meaningful connectivity. With the Kid Series, we’ve created technology that supports children’s curiosity and growing independence while giving parents greater confidence and peace of mind. It reflects our commitment to building products that seamlessly fit into the everyday lives of modern families.”
Priced at ₹6,499, the Sailor Nav smartwatch offers real time location tracking through Google Maps, geo fencing with five point satellite positioning, 4G two way voice and video calling, SOS support and audio chat features to help parents stay connected with their children.
The Sailor Play wireless headphones are priced at ₹1,499 and feature an 85 dB volume limit, cushioned earcups, 40 mm audio drivers and up to 60 hours of battery life. The headphones are designed for music, learning content and everyday entertainment while promoting safer listening habits.
The company said the Kid Series expands its consumer technology portfolio beyond personal audio and wearables into products designed for families. The move follows boAt’s expansion into charging solutions, home entertainment and personal grooming categories.
