Mumbai: Mental health advocate Anshula Kapoor attended the Mumbai launch of Kareena Mehta’s debut book, Letters From Your Therapist: On Love and Loss, at IFBE, Ballard Estate.
The evening also introduced Kare Collective, a collection of psychology inspired products and conversation tools created by Kareena Mehta through Kare Counselling.
The event brought together mental health professionals, wellness advocates, creators and members of the public for conversations around emotional wellbeing, self awareness, relationships, grief and healing.
As special guest speaker, Anshula Kapoor joined Kareena Mehta for a discussion on mental health and the importance of making emotional conversations more open and accessible.
Letters From Your Therapist: On Love and Loss draws from Kareena Mehta’s experience as a therapist and offers reflections on love, heartbreak, loss, self worth and personal growth. The book is written as a guide for readers navigating emotional challenges, with the aim of extending therapeutic support beyond the consulting room.
Kare Collective features psychology inspired interactive games including Breakthrough, Personify and Food For Thought. The products are designed to encourage self reflection, storytelling, deeper conversations and emotional awareness.
Kareena Mehta’s work focuses on creating resources that help individuals understand themselves better and build healthier relationships. Through the book and Kare Collective, she aims to make mental health support more relatable and part of everyday life.
Kareena Mehta is a Mumbai based mental health counsellor, author and founder of Kare Counselling and Kare Collective. She trained at Teachers College, Columbia University, with further specialisation in positive psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and trauma informed care from Trauma Institute International.
