10,000 Chennai Residents to Receive Free Health Screening Through SRM Prime Hospital’s 5 km Care Zone

Siva P, CEO of SRM Prime Hospital, said the complimentary SRM Prime Card will provide specialist consultations, preventive services, diagnostic and treatment discounts, and emergency ambulance support.

Residents across several Chennai neighbourhoods located within 5 km of SRM Prime Hospital will receive access to free health screenings and a complimentary privilege card under the newly introduced SRM Prime Zone.
The neighbourhood healthcare programme will cover Ramapuram, Manapakkam, Porur, Mugalivakkam, Valasaravakkam, KK Nagar, Nesapakkam and surrounding areas. It has been planned to make medical consultations, preventive care and emergency support more accessible to families living near the hospital.

SRM Prime Hospital will conduct free health screenings for the first 10,000 residents within the zone through medical camps. The programme is intended to encourage regular health check-ups and support the early identification of health concerns.
The hospital also plans to distribute 10,000 complimentary SRM Prime Cards to households across the covered neighbourhoods.
Under SRM Prime Care, cardholders will receive a limited number of free specialist consultations across departments, complimentary diet consultations, a 20% discount on blood investigations and a 10% discount on bed charges and pharmacy bills.

The card will also provide a Buy One, Get One Free offer on the hospital’s Master Health Check-up. During emergencies, eligible cardholders located within the 5 km radius will be able to request free ambulance pick-up from the hospital.
Playback singer Mano inaugurated the SRM Prime Zone in the presence of Siva P, CEO of SRM Prime Hospital, Selva Ramasamy, Vice President, Healthcare Services, and Dr Shrilekha Venkatesan, Assistant Director, Medical Services at SRM Prime Hospital. Community leaders and representatives from Residents’ Welfare Associations were also present.
Siva P said, “At SRM Prime Hospital, Ramapuram, we believe that quality healthcare should be accessible, affordable, preventive, and deeply connected to the community.”

He said the SRM Prime Zone and complimentary card were intended to bring medical services closer to residents while supporting timely consultations and preventive care. He added that the first 10,000 residents would receive free health screenings, while 10,000 cardholders would be eligible for consultations, preventive services, discounts and emergency ambulance support.
According to Siva P, the programme also seeks to encourage families to prioritise preventive care, seek medical attention at the appropriate time and adopt healthier lifestyles.
