Dr. Pawan Kumar, CEO, CARE Hospitals, and Nilesh Gupta, Regional CEO, CARE Hospitals, attribute the Joint Commission International accreditation to the hospital’s clinical and operational teams, with the recognition covering patient safety, clinical quality, infection prevention and healthcare practices.

CARE Hospitals, HITEC City, has received accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI) following an assessment of its clinical and operational practices against international healthcare quality and patient safety standards.
The accreditation recognises the hospital’s compliance with internationally established requirements covering patient care, clinical protocols, medication management, quality governance, infection prevention and control, and patient safety.
JCI accreditation involves evaluating healthcare institutions against defined standards intended to support consistent clinical practices, reduce preventable risks and improve the quality of patient care.

For CARE Hospitals, HITEC City, the recognition follows a comprehensive review of systems and processes across clinical and operational departments.
The assessment covered practices that influence patient safety and the delivery of care, including infection prevention measures, medication management, clinical procedures and quality monitoring.
The hospital attributed the achievement to the collective efforts of its doctors, nurses, caregivers, clinical teams and support staff.

Dr. Pawan Kumar, CEO, CARE Hospitals, said, “Patients place immense trust in us during some of the most important and vulnerable moments of their lives. JCI accreditation validates that the systems, processes, and culture behind every patient interaction at CARE Hospitals, HITEC City meet globally benchmarked standards of safety and quality. More importantly, it reflects our commitment to continuously improve, innovate, and deliver the highest standards of care. As one of India’s leading healthcare networks, we remain focused on building trust through clinical excellence, patient-centricity, and outcomes that matter.”
The accreditation also places attention on how hospitals maintain standardised processes across departments, from clinical decision making and medication administration to infection prevention and quality oversight.

Nilesh Gupta, Regional CEO, CARE Hospitals, said, “This achievement is the result of years of commitment, collaboration, and unwavering focus from our doctors, nurses, clinical teams, and support staff. JCI accreditation is not just a recognition of our processes; it is a reflection of our people and their dedication to delivering safe, compassionate, and world-class care every day.”
According to CARE Hospitals, the accreditation reflects its ongoing efforts to maintain consistent patient care practices and improve the overall healthcare experience.

The hospital stated that its priorities following the accreditation will continue to include clinical quality, patient experience, safety practices and access to healthcare services.
The JCI recognition marks a development for CARE Hospitals, HITEC City, as the organisation continues its focus on internationally benchmarked healthcare standards and patient care processes.
