Aptech Limited has entered into a collaboration with Get Set Learn, an Arvind Mafatlal group company, to develop and deliver a specialised Generative AI Filmmaking Programme for aspiring filmmakers and creative professionals.
The 100 hour programme will focus on the creative, technical and practical use of Generative AI across filmmaking and content creation. It will be delivered in virtual and hybrid formats, allowing learners across India to participate.
Under the collaboration, Get Set Learn will develop the curriculum and course content, while Aptech will handle programme delivery, faculty enablement, student enrolment, operations, marketing and learner engagement.

The programme will be introduced in phases across Aptech’s media and entertainment training brands, Arena Animation and MAAC.
Mr. Sandip Weling, Whole-time Director & Chief Business Officer, Global Retail, Aptech Limited, said Generative AI is changing how creative professionals approach storytelling and production.
“Generative AI is redefining the creative landscape and opening up new possibilities for how stories are imagined, developed and produced. At Aptech, our focus has always been on keeping learners aligned with the evolving needs of industry,” Mr. Weling said.
“Our collaboration with GSL brings together creative expertise, emerging technology and a strong learning ecosystem to give students an opportunity to understand and apply AI-powered filmmaking workflows in a practical, industry-oriented environment. We believe this partnership can play an important role in preparing the next generation of creative professionals for an AI-enabled future,” he added.

The programme will combine structured learning with practical assignments, demonstrations, video tutorials and project based learning. Participants will complete a capstone project resulting in the creation of an AI short film.
The course will include filmmaking sessions delivered by Aptech faculty, AI filmmaking modules and masterclasses involving filmmakers, AI experts and Get Set Learn’s creative team.
ndustry engagement and mentorship will also form part of the programme. Get Set Learn’s creative team will support faculty training and course delivery, participate in selected sessions and mentor students working on their capstone projects.
Top performing students may be considered for internships. Selected student films may also be presented through Aptech and Get Set Learn platforms and submitted to national and international AI film festivals and competitions.
Mr. Ameet Zaveri, Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer, Get Set Learn, said the combination of artificial intelligence and filmmaking is changing the creative process.

The convergence of artificial intelligence and filmmaking is creating an entirely new creative paradigm. Our collaboration with Aptech is designed to make this transformation accessible to learners through a structured, hands-on learning experience that combines technology with storytelling and creative thinking,” Mr. Zaveri said.
“By bringing industry perspectives, mentorship and project-based learning into the programme, we aim to help students move beyond simply using AI tools and develop the ability to use these technologies meaningfully in the creative process,” he added.
Admissions will be based on a creative assessment and selection process intended to evaluate participants for the programme.
The collaboration comes as Generative AI is increasingly being applied across filmmaking processes including ideation, scripting, visual development, production and post production.
Aptech and Get Set Learn intend the programme to provide learners with practical exposure to these changing production processes while developing portfolios and industry experience relevant to filmmaking and digital content creation.
