The Fertiliser Association of India will organise a four day residential Training Programme on Biofertilisers for Agricultural Sustainability from 11 to 14 May 2026 at Peerless Resort, Corbyn’s Cove, Sri Vijaya Puram, Port Blair, in the Andaman Islands.
The programme is designed for middle and senior level officials from fertiliser and agri input companies working across biofertiliser and biostimulant production, material management, sales and marketing, agriculture services, and agri business.
Dr. Suresh Kumar Chaudhari, Director General, FAI, will address the participants and share insights on government policies related to organic fertilisers, biofertilisers and biostimulants, new technologies in the biofertiliser space, and crop specific applications.
The sessions will focus on helping participants understand how biofertilisers can be integrated into nutrient management strategies at the ground level.
FAI said the training will follow an interactive and discussion led format, moving beyond conventional lectures to support applied thinking among participants.
Established in 1955, the Fertiliser Association of India is a non profit organisation representing stakeholders across the fertiliser sector, including manufacturers, importers, technology providers, equipment suppliers, and researchers.
The organisation works to support operational efficiency in the fertiliser sector and promote balanced and scientific fertilisation. It also acts as a link between industry and government through policy inputs and sectoral dialogue.
With regional offices, technical divisions, training programmes, specialised studies, international collaborations, journals, and research publications, FAI contributes to production, distribution, sustainability, and fertiliser use efficiency in India.
