Guwahati, 25 July 2026: Peerless Hospital Guwahati celebrated its First Foundation Day, marking one year since its inauguration on 21 July 2025, with a series of employee engagement programmes, patient safety initiatives and community healthcare benefits that reflected the institution’s continued commitment to accessible, high quality healthcare.
The celebrations brought together doctors, nurses, administrative personnel and support staff in an event that recognised the contributions of every department over the past year. Designed to promote teamwork and strengthen workplace collaboration, the programme included recreational activities alongside initiatives that reinforced the hospital’s focus on patient care and clinical excellence.

Sporting competitions, including cricket and arm wrestling, encouraged employees to participate in activities beyond their daily responsibilities, fostering camaraderie across teams. A painting competition based on the theme of patient safety added a meaningful dimension to the celebrations by highlighting one of the hospital’s core priorities. Through creative expression, participants reflected on the importance of maintaining safe healthcare practices while reinforcing the institution’s commitment to quality treatment and patient wellbeing.
As part of the Foundation Day celebrations, Peerless Hospital Guwahati also announced a range of healthcare benefits for the community, making several medical services more affordable for patients across Assam and the Northeast.

The special offers include super speciality consultations at ₹100 in General Medicine, Orthopaedics, General Surgery and Neurocare. Patients can also avail a 15 per cent discount on all health check up packages, while discounts of up to 25 per cent are being offered on ECG, Radiology and in house blood tests based on the total bill amount. In addition, laparoscopic gall bladder surgery is available from ₹35,000, subject to applicable terms and conditions. These Foundation Day offers are valid from 21 July to 31 July 2026.
The anniversary also provided an opportunity for the hospital to reflect on its progress since opening its doors in 2025.
