Through Omnigel and Prolyte ORS, the company aims to support more than 85,000 devotees with hydration and pain relief initiatives during the nine day pilgrimage.

Cipla Health Limited is supporting devotees participating in the Jagannath Rath Yatra 2026 through on ground wellness initiatives led by its brands Omnigel and Prolyte ORS.
The company said its initiatives are expected to reach more than 85,000 devotees during the nine day festival by providing hydration and pain relief support to those undertaking the pilgrimage.
The Jagannath Rath Yatra attracts millions of devotees from across India every year. Long hours of walking, outdoor exposure and physical exertion often create hydration and wellness requirements for participants during the event.

As part of its initiative, Prolyte ORS has set up a hydration stall that will operate throughout the celebrations. The company said it has distributed more than 70,000 units of Prolyte ORS to help devotees maintain hydration during the pilgrimage.
Omnigel has also established a dedicated seva stall to assist devotees experiencing muscle soreness, body aches and physical fatigue during the yatra. The initiative continues the brand’s participation in large religious gatherings, including the Kumbh Mela, Kanwar Yatra and previous editions of the Jagannath Rath Yatra.
Commenting on the initiative, Shivam Puri, CEO, One India Business, Cipla, said, “India’s faith led gatherings are among the world’s largest expressions of collective participation, bringing together millions of people in shared moments of devotion and community. Among them, Rath Yatra stands out as one of the country’s most iconic pilgrimages, reflecting the spirit of faith, resilience and togetherness.”

He added, “At Cipla Health, we recognise that every pilgrimage is both a physical and spiritual journey. For years, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to supporting devotees throughout this sacred journey by addressing their everyday wellness needs. Building on this, we are once again extending support through solutions that promote hydration and physical well being, enabling devotees to undertake their journey with comfort, resilience and an unwavering focus on its spiritual significance.”
Through the initiatives, Cipla Health aims to make hydration and everyday wellness support more accessible during one of India’s largest religious gatherings.
