IIHMR University hosted the first session of its IIHMRU Webinar Series, focusing on advancing healthcare leadership for working professionals.
The webinar highlighted the University’s Executive Master of Public Health and Executive Master of Hospital Administration programmes, which are designed for professionals already working in healthcare, hospital administration, clinical practice, and public health.
The session brought together 160 participants, including academic leaders, industry experts, and programme participants, to discuss the changing demands of healthcare leadership and the role of specialised education in preparing professionals for senior responsibilities.
Dr. P.R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, shared insights into the structure of the executive programmes and the University’s vision for developing future healthcare leaders.

The webinar also featured Dr. Anshul Yadav, Assistant Professor and Senior Consultant in Anaesthesiology at Amrita School of Medicine and Hospital and an Executive MHA alumnus, who shared perspectives from his professional journey.
Ms. Lakshmi Sripada, Health Specialist at The World Bank and an Executive MPH participant, also spoke about her experience with the programme and the learning outcomes it has supported.
The session was aimed at healthcare professionals, administrators, clinicians, and public health practitioners seeking to move into leadership roles. Participants received information on programme flexibility, career advancement opportunities, and applied learning, followed by a live question and answer interaction with the speakers.
