Rajeev Sibal says neurological recovery needs more than treatment as Lupin expands Atharv Ability

Lupin said its Delhi Atharv Ability centre will provide multidisciplinary neuro rehabilitation for adults and children, with Rajeev Sibal, President of India Region Formulations, saying recovery care must extend beyond treatment.

Lupin Limited has opened Atharv Ability, a multidisciplinary neuro rehabilitation centre in Naraina Vihar, Delhi, to support adults and children with neurological disabilities.
The Delhi centre is the third Atharv Ability facility after Mumbai in 2023 and Hyderabad in 2024. Lupin said the expansion is aimed at improving access to specialised neuro rehabilitation services in North India, where such care remains limited.
Atharv Ability will provide care for patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and paediatric neurological disorders such as cerebral palsy.

The centre combines clinical expertise with technology enabled rehabilitation. Its services include end effector robotics for gait and hand training, AI based balance and postural control systems, neuro physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and swallowing therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, aqua therapy, visual rehabilitation and virtual reality based rehabilitation.

He added that the expansion reflects Lupin’s belief that high quality neuro rehabilitation should be accessible, affordable and standardised across India.
The facility is positioned to address gaps in neurological recovery through specialised care, structured therapy and personalised rehabilitation programmes.
