Sudha Reddy Foundation and MEIL Foundation Mark World Day of Social Justice at Irrum Manzil School

224 benches and classroom infrastructure installed at Rabindra Niketan High School to improve learning conditions for 250 students

Hyderabad, February 20, 2026: Sudha Reddy Foundation and MEIL Foundation marked World Day of Social Justice by upgrading classroom infrastructure at Rabindra Niketan High School in Irrum Manzil, Hyderabad. The school was built by the two foundations to serve children from underprivileged communities.
As part of the initiative, 224 new student benches were installed along with classroom storage cabinets and furniture for teachers and the school principal. The upgrade aims to create a more organised and comfortable learning environment for students and staff.

Mrs Sudha Reddy, Founder, Sudha Reddy Foundation, said, “For many children, especially those facing challenges at home, a proper desk and chair mean more than just furniture. It gives them a sense of stability and confidence. We believe every child deserves a respectful space to learn and grow.”
Rabindra Niketan High School serves children from vulnerable communities in Hyderabad, many of whom have limited access to essential educational resources. The new infrastructure is expected to help students concentrate better and feel more motivated in school.

The inauguration ceremony was held on February 20 and attended by approximately 250 students, teachers and alumni. The programme included a lamp lighting ceremony, ribbon cutting, student performances and interactions with the school community.
The MEIL Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited, partnered in the initiative as part of its ongoing support for education and community development.
