Tata Steel Colors has launched an outreach programme covering four cities and 13 talukas along the Pandharpur Wari route, while Priya Rajesh, Chief of Marketing, said the initiative reflects the company’s focus on engaging with communities through Maharashtra’s cultural traditions
Tata Steel Colors has launched a community outreach programme along the annual Pandharpur Wari, extending support to devotees while engaging with communities across key locations on the pilgrimage route in Maharashtra.
The initiative covers four cities and 13 talukas, including Jejuri, Valhe, Lonand, Phaltan, Malshiras, Velapur and Wakhari. A specially designed vehicle will travel along the route during the pilgrimage, distributing essential items to devotees to support them during their journey.
The programme was flagged off by Praveen Thampi, Managing Director, Tata Steel Colors, marking the beginning of the company’s outreach during one of Maharashtra’s longest standing religious and cultural traditions.
Alongside the community support activities, the initiative includes Pathnatya, or street theatre performances, by a theatre group at prominent locations along the Wari route until the conclusion of the procession.
The performances are intended to engage homeowners, farmers and local communities by creating awareness about durable roofing solutions through a culturally familiar format. According to the company, the initiative also seeks to encourage conversations around the importance of quality roofing for long term protection against changing weather conditions.
Priya Rajesh, Chief of Marketing, Tata Steel Colors, said, “The Wari is not merely a pilgrimage; it is a living celebration of Maharashtra’s cultural heritage and collective identity. At Tata Steel Colors, we believe lasting relationships are built by participating in moments that matter to people. Through this initiative, we celebrate the spirit of the Wari while engaging with communities in a meaningful and culturally resonant way.”
Celebrated for more than seven centuries, the Pandharpur Wari draws devotees from across Maharashtra every year and remains one of the state’s most significant spiritual and cultural traditions.

Hey there this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or
if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get
guidance from someone with experience. Any help would
be enormously appreciated!
An outstanding share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a co-worker who has been doing
a little homework on this. And he actually ordered me lunch simply because I found it for him…
lol. So let me reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!!
But yeah, thanks for spending the time to talk about this subject here on your
web page.
