Access to mobility support reached 104 persons with disabilities in Mumbai as Narayan Seva Sansthan conducted a free Narayan Limb and Calipers Fitment Camp on June 14, providing 154 prosthetic limbs at no cost.
The camp included upper limb, lower limb and multiple limb prostheses, with each beneficiary assessed for individual mobility requirements. The initiative focused on screening, assessment and identification of artificial limb and mobility aid needs for persons with disabilities.

Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Maharashtra minister for Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, attended as Chief Guest, accompanied by Manju Lodha. The event was also attended by camp partner Radha Krishna Charitable Foundation, USA, Jayashree Bhatia, social worker Niti Goyal, patron Satya Bhushan Jain from Mumbai, Branch President Mahesh Agarwal and Trustee and Director Devendra Choubisa. Ravish Kawadia, In charge of the Foreign Department, delivered the vote of thanks.
The prosthetic support used advanced 3D printing technology developed with Japanese and German engineering inputs to create precision fit modular artificial limbs suited to individual beneficiary needs.

Mangal Prabhat Lodha said, “Witnessing beneficiaries take their first steps toward greater independence inspires us to continue expanding our efforts and reaching more communities across the country.” He also commended Narayan Seva Sansthan for extending support to persons with disabilities in Maharashtra and across India.
Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan, said, “At Narayan Seva Sansthan, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, confidence, and independence. An artificial limb is not merely a medical device; it is a pathway to mobility, self reliance, and renewed hope. Through these initiatives, we are committed to leveraging advanced rehabilitation technologies and compassionate care to ensure that persons with disabilities have access to the support they need to lead fulfilling lives.”

In May, Narayan Seva Sansthan conducted a measurement camp in Mumbai for persons with disabilities to identify cases for free corrective surgeries, reflecting a rehabilitation approach that extends beyond prosthetic support.
The organisation also recently hosted its 46th Divyang Mass Wedding Ceremony in Delhi, where 21 differently abled couples were united in a dignified ceremony focused on companionship, equality and social inclusion.
Narayan Seva Sansthan has so far provided free artificial limbs to more than 39,591 differently abled individuals and free medical treatment to over 452,000 beneficiaries.
The organisation’s founder, Kailash Manav Agarwal, received the Padma Shri in 2008 from then President Pratibha Patil for his contribution to social service. Narayan Seva Sansthan President Prashant Agarwal received the National Award in 2023 from President Droupadi Murmu for his work in disability welfare.
