143 Senior Citizens Receive Support as Aahwahan Foundation and Tredence CSR Begin Meethi Muskan in Bengaluru

Support for 143 senior citizens at Sri Chaithanya Old Age Home in J.P. Nagar has marked the start of Meethi Muskan, an initiative by Aahwahan Foundation with support from Tredence CSR.
The programme focuses on senior citizens living in old age homes and provides assistance covering food, healthcare, clothing, hygiene and living conditions. It also addresses the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of elderly residents who require continued support.
Sri Chaithanya Old Age Home in Bengaluru is the first location covered under the initiative, where 143 senior citizens have benefited.

Aahwahan Foundation, with support from Tredence CSR, has adopted six old age homes across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata and Gurgaon as part of the programme.

The initiative will focus on providing essential resources to residents while addressing living conditions within the participating homes.
Aahwahan Foundation also plans to take Meethi Muskan to additional cities and old age homes across India, extending assistance to more senior citizens according to their needs.
The programme forms part of the Foundation’s work with vulnerable and underserved communities. Its approach to senior citizen support includes essential assistance alongside companionship, care and attention to residents’ dignity.
Through its work with Tredence CSR, Aahwahan Foundation plans to continue the programme across the six adopted old age homes while widening its reach to additional locations.
