18 Organisations Join Embassy Group and Dhwani Foundation to Explore Joint CSR Action

Ms. Shaina Ganapathy, Head of Community Outreach, Embassy Group, says the 19th Embassy Engage roundtable will take discussions towards collective action as participating organisations explore a joint project across education, health, environment and skilling over the next six months.

Mumbai, September 28, 2026: Eighteen organisations came together at the 19th edition of Embassy Engage to examine how shared expertise, resources and knowledge could be used to develop collaborative CSR initiatives across education, health, environment and skilling.
Convened by Embassy Group in collaboration with Dhwani Foundation, the roundtable was held under the theme “From Interest to Action” and focused on moving discussions beyond individual CSR programmes towards partnerships addressing common social priorities.
The session included case studies on “Collaboration in Practice” and “Lived Experience”, followed by an interactive discussion on the factors that can support effective collaboration.

Participants also examined ways to align their work with government developmental priorities and identified areas where organisations working on similar social issues could coordinate their efforts.
Breakout sessions focused specifically on education, health, environment and skilling. Participating organisations discussed their existing initiatives and considered where their respective capabilities could complement one another.
The discussions concluded with an intent to explore and develop a joint project over the next six months.

The roundtable is also expected to lead to further discussions around potential anchor programmes in areas where participating organisations have common interests and complementary capabilities.
Future conversations will consider how such partnerships could operate, including implementation models, contribution structures, governance mechanisms, programme management and impact reporting.
Dhwani Foundation’s involvement brings its experience of working with grassroots NGOs, donors, CSR partners, government bodies and sector networks to the Embassy Engage platform. Its work focuses on building organisational capacity among grassroots organisations and supporting the wider social sector ecosystem.

Embassy Engage serves as a platform through which Embassy Group brings organisations and other stakeholders together to discuss social and community priorities, exchange experiences and identify opportunities for cooperation.
Following the 19th edition, the participating organisations are expected to continue discussions on potential areas of collaboration, with the next six months providing a period to explore how a joint project could be developed.
