In support of the Government of India’s ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ movement, Central Bank of India began its national Swachhotsav 2025 campaign with a beach clean-up drive at Girgaon Chowpatty.
The initiative was led by the bank’s Executive Director Mahendra Dohare, who was joined by senior executives including E. Ratan Kumar, Mukul Dandige, K. K. Kala, and staff from the bank’s Mumbai Zonal and Regional Offices.

In line with the theme “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath”, the event marked the first in a series of activities the bank has planned across more than 4,000 branches and offices. During the drive, participants honoured Safai Mitras and reinforced the importance of collective civic responsibility.

The campaign runs until 30 September 2025 and includes cleanliness drives, awareness programs, and staff engagement across India. Central Bank of India’s leadership reaffirmed its commitment to national priorities and sustainable community development.
