Maharashtra, 2 March 2026: ACC, part of the Adani Portfolio, in collaboration with the Adani Foundation, has flagged off a Mobile Health Care Unit in Chanda to extend primary healthcare services across 18 operational villages in the region.
The Mobile Health Care Unit has been introduced to deliver basic medical support, preventive care and timely treatment directly at the village level. The initiative is designed to improve accessibility for rural communities that often face challenges in reaching healthcare facilities.
The flagging off ceremony was attended by the Chief Plant Manager, ACC Chanda, along with the Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat members and the CSR team. Addressing those present, the Chief Plant Manager spoke about the importance of accessible healthcare services within villages and noted that the Mobile Health Care Unit would help residents receive essential medical attention closer to home.
Community representatives welcomed the initiative and acknowledged ACC’s continued engagement across development sectors, particularly healthcare.
The rollout of the Mobile Health Care Unit reflects the ongoing efforts of ACC and the Adani Foundation to improve rural health outcomes through structured and community based interventions.
